Limoncetta of Sorrento was born in the charming Sorrentine Peninsula, from the peel of the finest Lemons of Sorrento. It is produced by infusion of peel of “Limone di Sorrento IGP”, whose standards of quality and origin are carefully inspected and certified by the Consortium of “Limone di Sorrento IGP”. A liqueur 100% natural, without colorings or preservatives, made following the traditional recipe for infusion. The Sorrento Lemons are collected between January and March, then the peels are cleared from the white part, so as to eliminate the bitter aftertaste, and let macerate in alcohol for seven days. The result is an infusion of lemon with a unique flavor and unmistakable origin.
